Being anti-genocide is such a low bar to clear and I don't trust or respect any politician who can't clear it. Why would I? If they think a genocide against Palestinians isn't important, there's nothing that says one day I won't fall into the category of being expendable to them either.

I'd love to be wrong in my pessimism, I'd love for Carney to stand up and take a hard line against genocide now that the election's behind him. But I sincerely doubt that'll happen. Because if he did, some pro-genocide Liberal MPs might cross over to the Conservatives.

Not reaching gnocide proportions yet but there’s no doubt this is a preventable humanitarian disaster with at least some motivation for ethnic cleansing, and diplomatic pressure is the totally valid and likely effective approach that should be taken (as opposed to targeting random Jwish places).
