Literally the only reason why Trump won't be able to pull a full on destruction of democracy is that he literally is too old - but musk is right there and that's terrifying.

you're right lol, and moreover, musk won't be able to assert any influence on politics in a few years, i think he's fighting a bit too many battles all over the world
there's a good reason why the omniscient evil guy is a movie archetyp and not a real life character, as much as musk wants it, power is a way more complicated mechanism than he seems to believe
Basically why I've completely detached myself from politics as it'll be depressing as hell, maybe better than worst case due to incompetence, and I don't have the mental space to get upset by this country at large.
