I think this is a great analogy. Not least because it really validates distance traveled (in the face of enormous headwinds) without taking anything away from anybody else.

I grew up more #UnitedSynagogue than full orthodox (like, drive to shul on shabbat but park round the corner 🙂), but with you on the mix of head & tail-winds!
