Sorry, but the only way the numbness stops is exercise and walking. I have the same problem after my last 2 lumbar surgeries in 2 days. An A-Lift through my stomach and the next day a T10-S1 fusion in July 2017. "Exercising is the Key" but liquid Vit. B12 does help with the nerve regeneration.
Thanks, but sadly, that’s not my specific problem. I am being paralyzed gradually. It’s not a simple fix with surgery or medication. It can be slowed, but not stopped or cured.
Wow! I just discovered what #ankylosingSpondylitis is from a friend who sent me the info (very similar to my symptoms and relates to #Hashimotos thyroid disease. I’ve lost my mobility twice in a year and the tingly legs never go away. I hope you feel less tingly soon! ❤️🩹
Wow. I’m so sorry. I do have Hashi’s (dx in 2016), and they’ve said their best guess is that my thyroid wants to attack nerves. …but there is plenty we haven’t tested for, and I’m taking the spondylitis question to my rheumatologist today. I’ve also lost motor function in my lower half. Solidarity❤️🩹
I did not know that Hashimoto’s did that 😭 I’m so sorry, friend! You can message me any time and we can vent to each other if you’d like that so we don’t have to be alone 🥹
