honestly i dont get why they made metrolinx. the go and other local transit agencies were just fine. Only good thing i like is Presto but even that seems to be fading as people just use their debt card to pay for bus fair now

I don't know, I think it kind of makes sense. It was almost impossible to get any sort of coordination between all the various agencies, and you can see just how many projects they've managed to get started. But it needs to be improved.

Metrolinx does make sense in theory ... there's just something happening right now which is killing efficiency (perhaps the leadership). But I think disbanding it would be throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Metrolinx actually can build Good projects it's just they didn't actually design the Crosstown, the Ontario Line however that's a much better project it's very expensive but it's better value for money and the timeline isn't getting pushed back constantly because it uses more Elevated Construction

The very creation of Metrolinx was a strange story. For several months before Metrolinx was announced, there was no entity running GO Transit!
