I wish there were many more fields like these. Even the verges which should be filled with these are being mowed by overzealous gardeners locally. Infuriating.

Yeah @doverdc.bsky.social are busy cutting grassland by us at this moment - cutting everything out, in a drought - all the nectar source and as usual before the flowers were about to flower. Absolutely clueless - like the last 30 years never happened. Dinosaurs. Don't give a fuck about the bees
