not American, can't vote, but it seems really weird that the Democratic Party isn't just throwing its funding and resources at AOC and supporting her and her ideas—as well as just dumping money into local news organizations—rather than spending millions on a search for a "Joe Rogan for the left"

Almost every campaign AOC has thrown her weight behind has lost. The couple that won were in safe/gerrymandered D districts. Her and her movement have not flipped one seat or won a statewide race.
