- ignore financial cuts, precarity and redundancy
- act as if the pandemic had no impact
- only focus on undergraduates and tenured academic staff (not other workers or students)
This will be made considerably harder if the discourse about unis focuses on holding the wrong people accountable or failing to appreciate the whole, complex, picture.
There's a lot wrong and a lot of people trying to do right too.
