I didn't read the article but I can answer that question. When I lived in USA, I bought a Renault 5 "Le Car" my sister backed into it at 5mph in her Buick station wagon and totaled it. There wasn't even a scratch on the Buick. 🤣😂🤣😂

Other countries have smaller parking spaces and narrower roads than are typical in America, so small car owners are rewarded elsewhere. Here in America, everything is bigger so the rewards of driving a small car are greatly reduced.

europeans drive small cars that fit down smaller european roads. like people made fun of my Yugo back in the day. but i drove it for 7 years. 50 miles to the gallon. car companies here don’t even give a choice. just supersize everything.

SAME! My first car was a 1997 Ranger and it was my friend enjoy until my 20 year-old self managed to flip it 🤣

I don’t even count the Ford Mavericks because their beds are so tiny and they’re honestly really overpriced for what they are
