Bafflingly there are still people out there in the world who think being passionate about nature is “kind of weird”. or “a niche interest”. These people have it all wrong. Nature isn’t some quirky sideline to the main business. It IS the main business. Nature is us.

Wonderful shot too!
In America as in the world its a chain connecting
each insects
behavior
connected to the next and the next
In turn affecting humans
if certain insects weren't here
We'd be overrun by other insects
causing food issues
Thank you for posting educational & informative posts.
I need to do some more scientific open letters instead of just political or economic ones.
Here’s one of my favorites:

I understand the moon has no problem with insects. Send the economist there. With no way to get back to earth. He won't have to think about saving insects.
Loved your photo of the [polinizador]. I write a blog on Monarchs —would you mind if I shared it (with full credit) in a future post? Totally fine if not, just wanted to ask!

I heard that butterflies and bees are on the decline here in the UK and have made it a mission to plant as many wildflowers as I can 😭 I hope others are also doing this same
If everyone does what they can, even if it's small, it all contributes.
Okay and? I have a full on swarming phobia and run screaming from p much any insect that flies or jumps (especially grasshoppers and ESPECIALLY crickets 😬) and I don't want them harmed. So what's your excuse?
It's a fundamental error of the human mind to name and consider things as disconnected from their environment.
Trees without roots in the Earth are dead. Humans without bees will be corpses soon enough.
Here’s a little nature video I took in my back yard. Nature is amazing…
“Stop climate change” sounds like a high school protest. “Stop climate change before it stops us” captures the appropriate level of desperation.
No more artificial grass or tearing down nature to build concrete jungles
full of
complications
stopping and letting your eyes capture all the colors beauty
offers
our nose picks up familiar scents and new ones
that combined with what we see
gives us a sense of peace
happiness
amazement of nature
a moment to feel
we can go and continue with life
