Without a doubt.

I’d see him in the PL a similar story to Sam Byram this last couple of years - excellent squad player, lots of experience, rarely a liability. Handsome.

The question you should be asking is why his parent club don't want him. Or Soton, for that matter.

Plenty of the current squad look good at this level but wouldn't stand a chance in the top tier.

Yep. And he's not a young whipper snapper. 31 next season, so I don't think I'd want to be giving him a 3 or 4 yr contract.

Love him but I think we have to look elsewhere.

With a probable 7.5 to 9 million asking price it would be a shame not to. His deliveries at times are far better than anything else we have. When he drives with the ball I feel he is one of the quickest to open up space for us. The premier league will be a step up for all involved

All I actually see as important if we do go up to the PL, is making sure we have a squad who all know how to play well together. No point having 3 or 4 quality players who are all selfish and don’t gel #lufc

Presuming we go up, he’d be good to have in the squad. Solid player but there’s probably a reason he’s dropped down to the Champo.

Also approaching the wrong side of 30 unfortunately.
