All social media lends itself to confirmation bias. The protocol’s easy algorithm personalization gets us quickly and effectively into curated echo chambers. It’s nice that they’re not manipulated by commercial interests but narrowing nonetheless.

We’re no longer interested in diverse viewpoints.

The best thing I've done is have two separate accounts on this app. One for sports/hobbies the other for following news/politics. Currently I've been taking a break from the second account. Having doom news mixed into sports stories is a bad idea.
