On the subject of Saquon Barkley and whether he had the best RB season ever including postseason.
He played a very easy schedule. Even Washington was a below-average run defense.
Also, recency bias. Let me say five names.
Jim Brown
Earl Campbell
Terrell Davis
Marshall Faulk
Priest Holmes

How do you know eagles played a easy run defense schedule compared to other teams?
Eric Dickerson?
Walter Payton?
You just keep looking at the Giants Aaron.
But Eagles opponents accumulative win percentage this year was .491. Last year was .566, the year prior was .464. So yeah, Iβd say these are easy schedules.

Defensives today are far more sophisticated and fit.
I love the old school names you threw down, but Jim Brown at his peak could not run against today's WORST NFL defense.
We could presume he would adapt to a degree, but the game is so much faster now.
They beat playoff teams 6 times.
Saquon doing what he did even against "poor run defenses" is historic
We can do this with baseball over 162 games. One bad game can drop a run defense from top 5 to outside of the top 10.
Saquon is good enough to skee the stats
TD also didn't have a QB who was also a threat to run, which both took potential yards from Barkley and made opposing rushing defenses look worse
TD had all but 460 team rushing yards. Saquon had 1043 rushing yards from other players to contend with
