A very simple question for economists: What does Russia have that America would benefit from? And is that worth a trade war with Canada, Mexico, the EU, and who knows how many other countries with close traditional trade links to America?

And Deminishing friends’ spending power, at the same time US is withdrawing support. This is coordinating attack - not only on Ukranine but also on Europe and UK. It’s right out of PUTIN’s play book.

That means the power of the US to intervene in world affairs diminishes, while also preoccupying the country on domestic concerns, regardless of future leader.
That gives Russia the ability to pursue its expansion with the US less able to try and stop it.
Not out.
No military money needed for surveillance/defending against Russia. (DOGE "efficiency").
Fewer/no US bases in Europe -> less resistance to Russia -> US extortion.
Russian rich to invest in USA, donate to Trump -> Gold immigration cards.
