Britain has pretty low unemployment. In general, everyone who can work is working, and the ones who aren't working either can't work or aren't needed. So what the government is talking about here is performative punishment for not being needed. That's deeply inhuman and worthy of the far right.

The trouble is that the money system which we have is unable to measure or value those qualities.
It is working against the interests of a functioning community. It needs to be changed.
1. There is a shortage of SKILLED labour. Mostly because of Brexit.
2. No one is talking about a scrap heap. Quite the opposite. We're talking about upholding human dignity even for those who can't work.
3. This will be even more of an issue as AI takes away people's jobs.
Explain to me why the Mango Shitgibbon Quisling wants the UK to take more sub grade food and decrease reliance on Europe's higher quality and local food. 1 hour to get to France. Takes 2.5 to get to London
You do realise that Canada owns castles in the UK plus the Canadian pension fund invests heavily in the UK. The US would get all that.
Canada is part of the Commonwealth.
You might want to read up on the Commonwealth and who is on Canada's money. By the way Canada owns this one. It also have a lot of UK property.

It's a complete cluster fuck. People who are supposed to not have their PIP reviewed for another year or two are suddenly having to do it all over and the deadline is crazily short.
Complete balls up that has failed people.
People with deteriorating conditions cannot even get updated documentation in time.
Are we actually going to have accessors asking people when they got spina bifida?
