I've gotta think that a good part of the increase over recent finales is ending at 10pm EST. That makes the change a little easier to digest.

Ya! Apparently highest rated episode since 42 finale? The demo is actually insane tho either way. If cbs wants to keep two parts by giving the 14th ep back each season, I won’t hate it. I’m sure it’ll come down to the schedule as always.

I'd say leaving an extra person in is a reasonably significant adjustment. I'm also thinking about how if they give The #AmazingRace its standard 12 episodes, and it's premiering after ep. 2 of #Survivor48, its finale pairs with 48's finale part 1. And if that happens, is it a 2-hour/1-hour split?
