China has all but solved their homeless problem, crime rates are extremely low, everyone gets a basic income to ensure everyone is housed and fed, they get cheap healthcare, and they have freedoms to move about. The US doesn’t have any of that.

TikTok is not banned in China, it just isn't available under the same name. Although it is true that TikTok is not available for download in mainland China, it is not banned. The Chinese version of TikTok is actually the original version of the app, called Douyin.

According to my search, TikTok as we know it “has no presence in China,” as you point out, they use their own version. Our TikTok is also managed here. It's not even about the Chinese government. They're banning TikTok and forcing them to sell for abusing people's data. All the companies that do so should be barred from that practice, including Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, Amazon, etc.

As an American, I believe Zuckerberg saying the Biden administration pressured his company to censor information. It was proven before musk bought X that they were also pressured into censoring information. Will Trump be better? I will assess that as the information presents.
