I cannot be around popcorn being made, even me being in the same room will cause it to burn, underpop or in this case, catch fire.

Good to hear you're OK! My curse seems to be chili peppers, namely frying them. I stupidly put them on too high a heat, then decided to put liquid into the pan.

This Darwin Award future winner discovered a cheap pepper spray alternative. Had to endure it to open a window.

I had to close the kitchen door to stop the steam getting into the house!

You would've thought I'd learned the first time, but nope! Did it again in university digs.

Haven't done it since though.
