Wow. I’m going to use this approach and similar language next time I’m confronted with a MAGA convert that I think may still be reachable (thanks to @laurenjoyfraley.bsky.social for posting!)

I truly believe the only chance we have to turn this around is for people to really reach out to their family and former friends and try to get them to see the light.

My sister and I have been desperately trying to steer our parents away from conspiracies, but it's been so tough and we haven't been entirely successful. We managed to inoculate them against Q before they were exposed in the wild, thankfully.
