Anyone else feel like they spend more time in a third-person POV than they do seeing through their own eyes?

As I grew up/had more dissociative symptoms, I learned my specific flavor was a combo of depersonalization and derealization.
But, FWIW: unless it affects your QoL, it's likely not a problem. Brains are quirky!
Kid-you, too? The world never felt “real” even as a young kid - like, I would laugh uncontrollably (& disruptively) at how absurd and surreal everything felt -
After posting this, I stumbled upon Depersonalization / Derealization - and w/ your mention of it, sounds like it’s worth looking into.
Out-of-Body means somatic detachment, too - joy as second-hand and more cerebral. Def a QoL issue-
This potential discovery may be a key to being less clumsy / accident prone and developing the proprioception needed for physical coordination - like yoga or dance!
