I think part of why I liked ep3 so much is that it did not have this problem. Most of the shit that happened wasn’t just characters discussing things over a phone call. New, relevant, Guilty Gear lore happened and has now made a lasting impact on a main character. The plot was moved without needing

Yay the GG anime is mid again! I knew EP. 3 was just a fluke…
Anyway my main problem with the show is that the pacing is bonkers fast and all over the place if you don’t know GG lore, but slow and disorganized if you do. Character interactions are good, but the exposition is very bad
