Solidarity doesn't mean ignoring others' issues. It means standing with your issues in solidarity of others. Erasure only happens when we convince ourselves that only one person's issues can be helped.

The second issue with this logic is that it tricks us into thinking that our problems are a competition. People genuinely believe that someone else having an issue is going to completely erase their own when in reality solidarity is the only means of progress.

The first major flaw with this logic is that it prevents critical thinking. One issue at once is very black and white. Epecially when these issues are so interconnected that they can barely be considered separate. The less people think the more likely they are to fall for clearly flawed solutions
