Nah they ain’t the problem. They only account for 1-3%.
Its the ~35% of eligible voters that don’t vote. Thats the issue we need to attack. If we can even get 5% of them to vote in ‘28, might have a chance. Get 10% of those to vote and we win in landslide.
I don’t think, on its face, that there’s anything wrong w/ being an independent. I do think however that one needs to know when to hold them/ when to fold them and one of the most consequential elections of our lifetime is not the time to fuck around. But yes, I agree that not voting is inexcusable.
Is it possible they didn’t see anything in Harris worth voting for, or that they were put off by the “unique” conditions under which she got the nomination?
My bet is they wanted to keep their smug sense of superiority. Sure, Harris was problematic, but to pick this moment to say "oh she's too pro-Israel" or "pro-gun" or whatever the fuck it is they stood on? A heartfelt "f*ck off into the sun" to them. Where were these stances under Obama? Or Clinton?
Yah i wasn't going to vote for either. Harambe would've created world peace and beyond by now. Fuck you for not having your dick and/or tits out for Harambe.
Do you know what Biden put some of us through? Now part of my ear is gun-wounded off and I have to think about it every time I look at Trump. Get behind somebody different or stay losing.
Harm reduction only applies to drug use and maybe STIs, but fuck it when it comes to democracy! My vote is reserved for only the most ideologically perfect party. 👼🏻
Thinking by having more will fix it is bullshit too. Holds parties accountable is how you fix it. Mexico has too many parties and it’s not helping. Also people should be a bit more involved in their communities if you really want results and definitely more people should vote.

However, there’s not really a great excuse not to vote.
Whatever stands in a person’s way to vote, those obstacles can be overcome.

I’m heartbroken, but nobody owes you a vote.
