I observed hundreds of people, many holding signs, walking in the direction of Boston Common during my walk to South Street Station this morning. Most of them appeared to be Gen Xers and Baby Boomers.

I think - and this is just anecdotal - older people held down the more local protests, and younger people were at the larger ones that took more travel to get to. Obviously there was a mix of both, but there were SO many millennials and gen x at the DC event.
