The next time a woman is murdered by her abusive ex because she couldn't get a nightstand gun due to some arbitrary waiting period, or false accusation, isn't her "death on your hands"? You want to keep her vulnerable and defenseless.
There are way over 100 million US gun owners who are
peaceful, law abiding and know perfectly well they are not responsible in any way for the actions of criminals. As long as guilt by association and scapegoating are the basis of your thinking, it will continue to be "not one inch" from them. And they are correct.
This is America. Americans have already proven guns are more important than children. They keep electing Republicans aka MAGA the the Christian "family values," party. Talk to them.
