It’s less than 10 for the entire country, and that’s just the NCAA college stats. When most GOP-led states passed their grade school bans, there were often 0, 1 or 2 trans athletes total in the state. When FL introduced its ban there were 2 trans girls in grade school sports.

And because there are so few trans athletes, there’s not much research, as they’re obviously very small studies, so of course, they’re dismissing the fact most studies say there is no athletic advantage in being trans by saying the studies are too small to make that conclusion.

Human beings are psychologically biopsychosocially based. Biological factors XX, XY designate the majority of our genotype (chimera, XXY are outliers). Psychological factors also play into sexual identity self perception. Social norms and experiences have a lesser part. Sexual identity is complex.
