i think if Mahariel never became a Warden she could have joined the veil jumpers. I think that path would be reasonable for her, she didn't now much else. Oh how different her live would have been if she got to stay with her clan. I feel sorry for her in a way 🙁

If she became a Warden she'd follow in her mother's footsteps and she'd probably get herself booted from the order. If she joined the crows it would've be as an agent to wipe them out from within
