Years ago we used to take beer and some SOB through a bottle through the screen that ended it it was 6 months before they got a new screen and there was that big tear and I all the pictures it was terrible
It wasn't that concessions were expensive, it was movies started getting longer in the early 40's. The days of 90 minute films were over after Gone With The Wind.
Was this back when going to the movies meant you just showed up whenever for the continuous reel of movie? Watched rh seconds half first and then a bunch of films about the US blowing up Japanese battleships then the start of the film? Either way i'm impressed by how she ties up a Sandwich

Usually when my wife wants a fried bologna it's 'cut an X in the middle so it doesn't make a cup'.
And then she starts missing commod cheese.
In a past life I was a short-order bar & grill cook.
They special'd Reubens and grilled bologna sandwiches where it was sliced from the loaf.
One guy always got a "bologna steak" sandwich, sliced about 1/2" thick. (~12mm). It didn't cup, just crisp'd. LOL
I'm sitting there
I am everywhere at once
And I will cut you up
I'm watching you Nancy
