I think what I need to do is not use dithering straight up and actually colour block shaded areas to THEN use dithering to blend proper, that should help give off a better look
Then I still feel that arm looks goofy but I spent a whole hour on it already augh
I'm still not satisfied with the back sprite cus it stil feels too... Bland and rushed? It doesn't feel like I'm using the palette optimally like the OG sprites do but I'm too eepy to figure it out 3
I guess the main issue is that I can't use white as a main colour like they do, so there's less play with shades available, since the palettes are more planned to play off with humans, and they avoid showing faces too!!!
There's still a better subtlety when it comes to shapes that I couldn't nail!
