Thanks. I struggle sometimes with the TONE on jazz guitar. Some of it gets way too "smooth" for me. Like I really dig Kurt Rosenwinkel, while his tone makes me want to stab out my ear drums. - ThreadSky

Totally. I feel like Julian Lage is a breath of fresh air with jazz guitar tone. Just so different than the usual Gibson sound

Jazz guitar tone and style always bring up fun debates. Every time I bring up Bill Frisell as one of the greatest guitarists ever, I get many comments and arguments over tone and angular nature, etc
