I do actually love my coffee. The smell of it, that first glorious taste of the day.

But I also love tea as well.

Buckle up if you love coffee. Trump is imposing an immediate 25% tariff, increasing to 50% in one week, on all goods being imported from Colombia for their refusal to allow military flights trying to dump immigrants there. The only other place that grows pretty much the rest of coffee is Hawaii..

Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Peru, Sumatra, Vietnam -- a LOT of places grow coffee.

And if we don't buy from Columbia, other countries will. And we can get coffee from a lot of other locations.

Assuming the coffee buyers haven't already tied up 2025's crop . . .

You’re right. I failed to mention Brazil. Between the two countries, America gets 80% of coffee from them. They’re pretty much co-equal in the amounts we get from them both.
