I'm still in awe of how it took the almost comical representation of fascism from the previous films and turned it on its head, i.e., the banality of evil.

Watched the trailer. Somewhat nervous because there was 10 times the amount of pew-pew in that 2 minutes than in the whole of S01. Part of Andors' attraction was the thinking bits. I will watch to see but yeah, nervous

It is. I don't think (?) I've ever seen a Star Trek, I know what Darth Vader is but not much more ... it treats its audience like smart adults, and because it's all "pre-star wars" timeline, neither you nor the characters "know" anything.

It is a brilliant, brilliant show. It's slow pace is necessary to enable the character building. Rogue one was the best Star wars movie, it follows that it's origin show is also peerless.

Rogue One had one (1) space wizard…
…but used Vader as first a political threat, then an absolute, Alien-like merciless predator. Gave birth to the “corridor of brutal badassery” beat that Dave Filoni loves so much.

I’m not sure he’d fit in Andor, except in “terrifying threat to flee from” mode.

Hard agree Russ - class TV. I have to say Silo on Apple TV is pretty damned good too - certainly the top dystopian series in many years. Andor is Star Wars apex of quality though. #TopTelly
