Important clarification on the Sefcovic suggestion - it is not about a 'customs union' (the EU only has CU arrangements with Türkiye, Andorra and San Marino) but about a 'customs scheme', i.e. a system allowing for the cumulation of rules of origin within a free trade zone #Brexit

This is likely to be misunderstood. "Customs scheme" does not mean a customs union. It's about rules of origin and eligibility for duty-free trade within a free trade agreement.

He also mentions a veterinary agreement to help cut frictions on farm and food trade.
