We have to realize that we entered an era where for, once reliable and friendly countries, there is no such thing as "international law" anymore. We're in survival mode, not in "international law" mode any longer.
Ukrainians, Palestinians and soon the Taiwanese will be the first suffer.

This may be true for certain norms of international law. But there are still and continue to be hundreds of international treaties that do not lose their validity and are respected by all sides. International law has survived worse times.
