Continuing to read through this. The thing with deconstruction-style fanfic is that one of the big traps it can fall into is descending into uninteresting one-dimensional polemic, but this manages to strike a thoughtful and even-handed voice while still pointing out how iffy much of WWZ is

Stumbled across this almost by accident because I guess I missed it on my timeline the first time around, but I'm four chapters into it and so far this is pretty good stuff. If you're like me, you probably read World War Z at one point, then later realized "man this book's politics are fucked up"
