They dub Lacus' singing, but she has like terrible child dubbing because she sung in THAT VOICE, so I completely gave up on watching the dub.

The references were funny as far as actually making me enjoy episodes that were boring me but like... Thats a me problem

It's a extremely minor issue you're only liable to care about if you're deep into Lacus (and maybe not even then? I'm not sure how disruptive it is in practice because I haven't watched the dub for real) but aaaaaaaaaaa just on principle it bugs me so badly

I honestly don't think I've checked out the dub in twenty years, but honestly the attempt to get it through Toonami was a wracked with a lot nonsense. Like the Disco Guns.

Oh yeah. But as someone with a Detective Conan avatar (or shall I say, Case Closed) I think you can appreciate how the 4kids aesthetic was not contained to just dubs by 4kids. Disco guns is the extreme of 4kids style shit

I don't think it's a minor issue, but then again I got mad at the dub (that I only experienced in Battle Assault) for changing the pitch dynamics between the boosted men (WHY IS CLOTHO'S VOICE SO DEEP???)
