All of the hugs. It's been six years without Miles and four without Pyewacket. Toby and Bean take up space in a very different way than either of them did, and I'm glad in a lot of ways that they're both so uniquely weird they don't invite comparisons, because I still miss my first two every day.

I didn’t set out to find Toby or Bean, but they declared themselves. Toby literally fell purring into my hands and decided I was his. He is still a bossy boots. But I love him anyway. 😂
