You are correct, we must always push back and stand as one, when it comes to defending our First Nations peoples or any other marginalised group. We do need to recognise this for what it is and the old playbook of divide and conquer, (keeping us distracted) which #duttonsays is an expert at.

Dutton's petty decision only applies to his press conferences & will make zero difference to where flags are raised elsewhere and won't turn a vote. It's all a distraction since Dutton has lost two members of his cabinet in as many weeks!! The Flags Act remains in tact.

was a real eye opener. The racism was off the scale in the suburbs of Sydney. I can't tell you how many times I was asked if I was half Chinese because of where I was born. Not an issue to me, but clearly a problem for many people I met as I started my adult life.
