While I'm not going to say it fully "clicked" for me there were moments where I slowly figured some things out& each time I did it horrified me.While knowledge is power&its better to know than not know,sometimes not having it allows us to be joyous and present. The secret for me was anticapitalism.

I can relate. Every time I meet new people, typically colleagues at this point, I almost start a countdown in my head for when they're going to be annoyed with me.

bring autistic is a lifetime of having to figure out to do manually whatever the rest of the world seems to do automatically.

I'm privleged that i can say this and I recogize that. After my diagnosis, I gave my self permission to stop trying to solve that riddle. If I don't understand what is happening in a situation, I say exactly that. If I need time to process I say it. Reception has been mixed, but mostly positive

Maybe this will help some: you will never know how to act around everyone 100% of the time, no matter your neurotype. However, you can know how you expect others to act around YOU.

It’s ok. Regardless of how you act, someone will always have a problem with it. And some people with love it. People are just so different. Ignore the assholes and appreciate the kind ones.

Personally I've asked my friends to just tell me if I'm being too much, etc.

Direct, honest and open communication has been the only thing that's help me, but thats my experience.
