There is no way to disentangle capital punishment from America's history of racialized violence. Anyone with "knowledge of the subject" will tell you that. The fact that it's not what you want to hear is a you problem.

Now you're changing the subject and making assumptions. Yes, racial bias and racism has led to a disproportionate number of minorities put to death but use of DNA has helped to mitigate that. 45% of death row is white and the largest racial group, so yo can't use racial bias on the federal system.

You decided the subject was "what matters is society's feelings" rather than any object of public policy. That society had and has some questionable priorities is germane to this discussion.

Also, 75% of the population making up 45% of the row is an interesting argument *against* racial bias.

You're being disingenuous and misquoting me, but I know you haven't studied the cases, because many of the minority cases were murder of an inmate or guard. Remove them to focus on murder outside the penal system and the white percentage shoots up. Keep trying, you might get a solid rebuttal in.

And all of the people are innocent if you remove the people inconvenient to *me* from the sample, but that's not how this works.
