Iceland has NOTHING USEFUL. We're a resource-poor fishing country that has to import everything it needs and would be a MASSIVE DRAIN ON YOUR ECONOMY!)

I mean, Iceland *technically could* run itself on solar. It would just be a nonsensical choice because of how little resource we have, and would involve far more investment.
The windiest place in Finland outside the far north is 553 W/m².... with a *100* meter turbine.
It's just not comparable.
Let's put it another way: where are electricity-hungry industries like alumium smelters and datacentres choosing to be positioned - Finland or Iceland?
