I doubt that it's true. The monster's net worth is $384B. At present the chance of Tesla going bankrupt is less than 2%. Even if it did happen Musk would lose a few billion $$ but not nearly enough to ruin him. This is so depressing.

Check Reddit at r/RealTesla these days. Even the extremely bullish r/TSLA, the stock exhange subreddit, is finally starting to crack.

Much of Musk's corp house of cards rests on Tesla's value. Much of Musk's personal wealth is a dividend owing to that.
