This happened to my Mum. I was in the habit of helping her vote and she always voted Labor. Somehow while in aged care her electoral district was changed and she voted in my absence, and didn't know who she had voted for.

Yes, we saw this at the last election at my Mother In Laws aged care facility with #LNP stooges pushing there agenda. Lets hope that families wise up and make sure our elderly family members are not coerced by outsiders!

I actually complained but was told that her vote wouldn't have had any real impact on the results and that there weren't sufficient people affected to swing the vote. Maybe not, but I was still pissed off and could do nothing.

Yes, it happens in aged care homes in South Australia as well. The owners, management get shmoozed by their member with lunches etc. Absolutely disgusting.
