The correct response was to threaten retaliatory tariffs and grill US officials about the amount of illegal guns that come into Canada. Not go to Mar-O-Lago and let Trump dog walk you, Prime Minister.
Oh no #Cheetobenito tried 2 💪💪 the leader of our closest ally?!?
It obviously didn't work
The prime minister feels for the 👨👨👦👦 of our country
He understands the 😡 & panic many of us 😨fear
But as long as this madman is leader he will do what's best 4 His Country
I’m sure they don’t want Americans jumping the border for decent leadership, free healthcare and medications, affordable food, etc. Plus, Trudeau looks waaaaaay better than diaper don. Just sayin
Why? Are they afraid of US refugees? Oh, the irony. Although i'll point out, anyone fleeing to Canada, depending on how bad things get, won't be the ones who are screaming about "border security".
Pretty bad when Canada doesn’t feel safe letting you in. Fukin Trump is going to make an enemy out of both/our only two neighbors. Truly a dystopian time we are entering
It isn't that. It's my government grovelling to Cheeto Dust's demands of increased border security in the hopes he won't impose a 25% tariff on Canadian exports.
That being said, Canadian conservatives are now convinced that Mexican illegals are a common and legitimate problem at our border as well, for some reason.
It is a response to Trump’s threats to levy 25% tariffs unless Canada kept undocumented migrants from crossing the US northern border. (Not that it’s a real problem from Canada). This gives Trump a bragging point.
Exactly. But it is to Trump’s benefit to claim that dangerous people are traveling through Canada to get to the US. It is also to his benefit that Trudeau seem to acquiesce to Trump’s threats.

Cause the law of unintended consequences can't be repealed.
