I worked on MIDDLE-EARTH ROLE-PLAYING way back in the early '90s and then was the line developer for THE LORD OF THE RINGS RPG from Decipher about 22 years ago. The folks working on this edition (like @mytholder.bsky.social) really know their stuff!

Playing TOR as I write, I’ve played MERP once upon the time, and TOR is by far the best #Middle-earth #ttrpg. The rules follows the lore amazingly well!

This new version is fantastic and I highly recommend it. Ran a short mini-campaign early this year and loved it. Gorgeous books and a system that matches the setting perfectly. If I didn't own it all in physical form already, I'd leap at this deal!
Also excited for the Elf book just announced.

Just picked this up. I already had the core rulebook, but itching to dive into the rest of it. Especially Strider Mode.
