People--esp women-- have been told and told and told that parenting is fun and fulfilling and any hardship is either roll-your-eyes funny or somehow your fault or deficiency.
IT IS NOT.

So Chappel Roan in an interview said she doesn't know any happy parents her age and that parents seem miserable and now a bunch of parents on tiktok are SO MAD at her and calling her evil and hateful towards kids/families
BUT ALL SHE SAID WAS PARENTS SEEM UNHAPPY

The "funny", and the entire focus was how bad the boys were at it...
But what I couldn't take my eyes off was the three girls...
Their interest was irrelevant.
They, and the show, took it as automatic that they're responsible for any nurturing required.
We’re proud of our disgusting jerks!
We love our son to pieces, and always have, but these moments of venting frustrations are normal and healthy.
Considering the absolute shit hole in which we live: the poverty, the climate crisis, the violence against the marginalized, I couldn't imagine bringing kids in this world, as much as I love them. My heart goes to every parent trying.
My sincerest best wishes for your young adults. May they flourish.
