What is it with furry art (and real life for that matter) and diapers? Why is the venn diagram for furries and diaper play just one circle? I'm not being snarky, I'm genuinely curious. Like, you want to be an animal, but wear a diaper? Animals don't wear diapers. I don't get it.

Well, much as I would like them to, dragons don't exist in the real world but I like being a dragon.

Diapers however do exist in the real world, and I'm able to enjoy them in my daily life.

So, I simply put the two together to make the best possible representation of myself uwu

For one, there IS art of humans in diapers.
But besides that, the reasons for furries being into diapers tend to vary.
And along with that, "you want to be an animal" is not furry, that's therian. Furries are simply people who like anthro characters.

So connection mainly comes in that some people just both like furries AND diapers :P

Besides that, there is also the neurodivergence aspect. Some people in the furry community are autistic (I am one of them) and some people in the ABDL community are autistic (I am also one of them).
So for me... I tend to draw pokemon in diapers because I have a hyperfixation on both of them.

I myself am fictionkin otherkin as a mew. So I best see myself as a mew. But also, I love diapers. So I see myself as, specifically, a mew in huge poofy diapers.
