Ah my apologies. I don’t know much about the process to get in here. I just know we would be a better country with you and your family in it! Most ppl living here felt like it’s been a pretty open immigration policy in general. But the factors they consider for the visa approval is not well known.
In any case, the increasing numbers of immigrants accepted to Canada each year has been walked back a bit in 2024, they are re-evaluating. You may find the visa criteria changes in the near future, in particular after we have the new PM elected later this year.
I don't know how difficult it would be to migrate but the UK (Specifically Scotland) is absolutely amazing. I moved here from California and am still amazed at the difference in quality of life for me and my family.
Sadly with your population size, I don't think any country will wanna advertise a welcome sign in case 150 million ppl turn up.
I hope you guys can weather it and the incompetent arseholes just collapse on their own due to infighting (and don’t achieve anything lasting damage-wise)
Under what program are you applying your best best are via skilled worker programs. you can either apply for yourself or find an employer who will aid in the process.
be forewarned. if the tariffs come in we will be looking at some very steep lay offs
Thats really hard. We are genuinely concerned about the tariffs here. They could cause significant hardship for many people.
For my mental health I have had to limit to how much news I consume. Empathy fatigue is a real thing. I have even stopped watching Colbert and Meyers.
