this is a case where i think she’d like the actual meaning of her name and that there is a convenient feminine version of the name would probably suit her. especially since it was given to her by her dead parents who never got the chance to see her grow up 🥲
but no, there are reasons to read Superman that way that go back to the original appearance of the character back on 1938. not to mention the many, many times Superman has been turned into a woman and been fine with it lol
