Most of Europe never fluoridated their water, but their rate of dental caries went down the same amount as the United States, bc they put fluoride where it belongs, in toothpaste.

There's also an example of a county that got rid of their fluoride, and then put it right back after like a year, because the rate of childhood dental issues skyrocketed.

We literally do add a poison to most public water sources called chlorine, a principal ingredient in mustard gas, but also a substance that by itself is toxic.
